With the name or Limentra valley of Val di Limentra it comes to indicate two different valleys dell'appennino Tuscan-Emilian, placed between half of the province of Pistoia and the province of Bologna formed both by the River Limentra. One of them is formed by Limentra Eastern Limentra or less, while the other from Limentra of Sambuca or Limentra Western Limentra or higher, dall'appennino originated in the Tuscan town of Sambuca Pistoiese, which ends up crossing the Appennine Bologna.
